MY NAME IS FANNI...
…and when I discovered sewing for myself, a whole new world opened up. Suddenly, I could decide exactly what I wanted to sew, and the feeling of wearing it afterward is simply beautiful!
But to the very beginning: When I got my mother's old sewing machine, it sat idle for over six months without me sewing anything noteworthy. I was so excited and had a lot of ideas, but I just couldn't bring myself to start because it was simply overwhelming. The machine and all its functions intimidated me, and I kept putting off actually diving in.
That's why I'm here: I wanted to create sewing patterns that are truly accessible…even for beginners.
With step-by-step illustrated instructions and detailed follow-along video tutorials, made with all my energy and heart, there's no need to feel overwhelmed.
Every step is clearly and thoroughly explained, so you can confidently start sewing beautiful garments you'll love and wear for years to come.

I put a lot of energy into creating my sewing instructions. I love the feeling of holding a beautiful guide in my hands and sewing from it.
Each step is explained in detail, and every instruction is supported by an illustration to make sure it's truly easy to understand.
in-detail video tutorials
For each of my patterns, we film a detailed follow-along video tutorial. It’s made to show you every step visually…so really, nothing can go wrong.
We always look for a beautiful location to film in, and we hope that the calm and inspiring atmosphere makes watching (and sewing along!) even more enjoyable.

A few months ago, we completely changed our lives and moved into our van, which we built the past year. It was clear that a lot would change, especially with the limited space. But one thing was certain: we wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have to give up my passion for sewing and designing patterns just because of our new living situation. So, after many ups and downs, we set everything up in a way that allows me to take all the basic sewing tools with me. Paul built a table that’s sturdy enough for me to sew on, and one that he can set up anywhere.
This way, I can continue doing what I love, and I am so incredibly grateful for that!

Filming the tutorials is a lot of work: we have to find the right location, be there at 6 in the morning to set everything up, and make sure all the technical stuff runs smoothly.
Paul takes care of all of that and I’m so incredibly grateful. I could never do it all on my own.
He also films the tutorials and even helps with editing the videos.
FANNI
does everything else
from designing the patterns and testing them until the perfect pattern is created, to writing and illustrating the sewing instructions. I love every part of it and pour my heart into all the little details.
My goal is to create a wonderful experience for fellow sewing friends, with patterns that you'll love coming back to year after year, and video tutorials and sewing instructions that provide an enjoyable experience.
